10 of The Biggest Makeup Trends For 2022
As I comb through the biggest makeup trends that we will see this year, I am in love with what I am seeing! Everything is so fresh and fun in 2022. I picked out the best makeup trends that I can see not only myself, but my clients try this year. Here are 10 of the biggest makeup trends for 2022.
1. Blush Draping
Contour blush, also known as blush draping, is an old-school technique popularized by Cher’s makeup artist Way Bandy in the ’70s, although he called it “color glow” at the time. Essentially, it’s all about using blush as a way to sculpt and shape your face and enhance your unique structure. I started seeing it pop up here and there over the last few years, but this year it’s everywhere!
If you’re going to drape your blush, rather than right on the apples of the cheeks, move your blush placement back a bit to the top of your cheekbones, dusting the orbital bone and then up to the temples. Start by building your product slowly. You don’t want to go full ’80s with the intensity of the blush but push yourself to experiment a little!
Layer your blushes using these beautiful 3-in-1 Cream Tints. Featuring a beautiful shimmer finish, these four, buildable pigments will give you the ultimate summer glow. So, whether you want just a hint of tint or full-on color, this all-in-one product can do it all.
2. Bright Blush
Speaking of blush, brighter color choices, like bold peach and punchy pink, are taking center stage right now. The timing has never been better, and I think it’s time to brighten things up a bit!
Choose a palette like the Get Cheeky Palette which has an array of blushes to choose from depending on what you’re wearing or your mood.
3. Statement Eyes
From Euphoria to the spring fashion runways, there’s no question: it’s all about the eyes this season. Bright eyeshadow, adorned features and glitter is showing up everywhere right now.
Try mixing bold color eye shadow with geometric eyeliner. You can also mix various bright colors from the Moments Mixed Pigment Palette together for a unique look.
4. High Gloss Lips
Pucker up this year with shiny, glossy lips. Plump and juicy lips are the look of the season when not in your mask. Whether you’re opting for a nude lip or looking for a bit more color, the juicy, hydrated glass-looking lip is everywhere these days.
Use a high-shine gloss like Liquid Lip Glaze and don’t be afraid to pair it with a glowy complexion.
5. Bright Eyeshadow
Summer is all about bright colors and contrast. Pastels and neon combinations are showing up on the eyes in various ways.
If you are a little hesitant to add bright colors to your look, try layering the Moments Pressed Pigment Palette to create a monochromatic look with one color.
6. Colored Eyeliner
If bright eyeshadow’s not really your thing, but you still want to get in on the fun, opt for a colored eyeliner along your lower lashes. It might seem like a big step, but all it takes is a swipe under your bottom lashes to give your look a ton of personality.
To get this look, wet an angled eyeliner brush with 10 Years Younger Makeup Setting Spray and apply your favorite color from the Moments Pressed Pigment Palette along your lash line.
7. Full Eyebrows
Full eyebrows are still here and look just as good with the glammest of glam makeup as they do with your most minimal of minimal makeup.

8. No Makeup Makeup Look
The no makeup makeup look has been hanging around for awhile, but I have to say that I have been seeing more and more real women embracing their natural glow and even ditching the filters.
The no makeup makeup look doesn’t mean you don’t wear makeup. Even out your skin tone with the Pore Minimizing Serum and dab a Lumi-Stick or too on your cheeks, lips and even eyes.
9. Dewy Skin
There’s something so beautiful about dewy skin and there’s no better time to rock it than going into the hottest months of the year.
Swipe a powder or cream highlighter like the 3-in-1 Cream Tints over your high points, such as cheekbones, tip of your nose, Cupid’s bow, collar bones, and shoulders for an all-over glow.
10. Red Coral Lip
Bold lips are a year-round makeup staple, but you can add a summery vibe to your red-lip look by swapping out your cooler-toned reds (like burgundies and dark reds) for a warmer hue like Give Me Lip Liquid Lipstick.
