Having dry hands is something that so many are struggling with right now. Between the harsh soaps, hand sanitizers, and cleaning products, we are doing a great job at trying to stay healthy, all of which cause or hands to get even dryer than usual.  I always try to keep my hands soft, but I have added a couple steps to my regimen.

Back when I had long days at the salon, every winter my hands would get so dry they would crack. I had my hands in water more than not, so it was almost next to impossible to let them heal. I have tried EVERYTHING that was recommended to me by others. In this article I will share tips and products that not only helped me, but so many others. I think now is a great time to let the secrets out!

1. Gentle Soap

Use a gentle, natural soap to wash your hands. Gentle soaps won’t strip the natural oils.

2. Use Gloves

Reach for some gloves when you are using cleaners or even when washing the dishes. This will protect your skin from any harsh chemicals or detergents.

3. The Right Moisturizer

I know this may seem obvious, but using a moisturizer several times a day during this time will help. Just know that not all moisturizers are created equal. I have used so many that really didn’t seem to help, or even feel like they really absorb in!

5. Heal
