Eye Makeup You’ll Want to Try This 4th of July

Does anyone else use Holidays as an excuse to wear fun makeup looks, or is it just me? I almost think of it as a reason to push myself and try new colors I wouldn’t wear every day. Here are some of my favorite dazzling eye makeup looks that will make you twinkle while sparks flicker across the sky this 4th of July!

Red, White & Blue

4th of July Eye Makeup

For this 4th of July Eye Makeup look, you will need the Jet Setter & Static Palettes.

  1. Begin by applying the color “Temptation” (Jet Setter) onto the entire lid 
  2. Using a bit more “Temptation” on a fluffy brush begin blending that into the crease and extending the color outward for a cat-eye effect 
  3. Using a small pencil brush and the color “Fever” (Static Palette) apply underneath the lower lash line and what’s left on the brush extending the color outward slightly 
  4. Highlight the inner corner of the eye using “Pure” (Jet Setter Palette) 
  5. Begin by applying the color “Temptation” (Jet Setter) onto the entire lid 
  6. Using a bit more “Temptation” on a fluffy brush begin blending that into the crease and extending the color outward for a cat-eye effect 
  7. Using a small pencil brush and the color “Fever” (Static Palette) apply underneath the lower lash line and what’s left on the brush extending the color outward slightly 
  8. Highlight the inner corner of the eye using “Pure” (Jet Setter Palette) 

Watermelon Sugar

4th of July Eye Makeup

For this 4th of July Eye Makeup look, you will need the Static Palette.

  1. Begin by applying “Spell” on the very inner corner of the eye followed by “Rush”.
  2. Pat “Drenched” right after “Rush”.
  3. Taking “Fever” pat on the outer corner of the lid making sure to overlap the colors slightly for a smooth gradient of colors.
  4. On a fluffy brush, blend “Wrecked” on the very outer corner of the eye and blend into the crease stopping about halfway.
  5. Taking “ Precisely the Point Eyeliner” apply your winged liner. Line the lower lash line using “Angel” Motives® Khol Eyeliner.

Rhythm

4th of July Eye Makeup

For this4th of July Eye Makeup look, you will need the Viva Eye & Cheek Palette.

  1. Begin by patting “Rhythm” to both the inner & outer corner of the eye
  2. Blend out the outer corners slightly using “Heat” shadow and applying it to the crease 
  3. Using a small detail brush apply “Frisky” toward the outer corner of the eye and “Sun Beam” to the lid
  4. Repeat steps 1&2 to the lower lash line and adding “Sun Beam” to the center of the lower lash line 
  5. Line the lid with “Rhythm” by mixing a bit of shadow with water. Highlight the inner corner and brow bone using the highlight in the palette.

Thrill Me

4th of July Eye Makeup

For this 4th of July Eye Makeup look, you will need the Thrill Me Palette.

1.Begin by patting Motives Pressed Eye Shadow in Caramel over the entire lid 

2.Using a fluffy brush with the same color begin to blend into the crease 

3.Taking Motives Thrill Me Palette in shade “Epic” apply just to the center of the lid 

4.Using Motives Long-Wearing Liquid Eyeliner in Azure and apply your wing

5.Blend “Caramel” onto the lower lash line followed by “Epic” to the very center

Sassy & Bold

4th of July Eye Makeup

For this 4th of July Eye Makeup look, you will need Liquid Metal Eye Shadow in Sassy & Surge.

  1. Begin by applying Motives Pressed Eye Shadow in Caramel lightly onto the crease of the lid for some definition 
  2. Taking a piece of scotch tape place it to the edge of the eye at an angle to give you a nice clean edge. 
  3. Then taking Motives Liquid Metal Eye Shadow in Sassy apply as if you would a liner and smudge
  4. Taking Motives Liquid Metal Eye Shadow in Surge apply as a liner over top “Sassy“
  5. Repeat steps 2 & 3 onto the lower lash line
  6. Highlight the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes using Motives Thrill Me Palette in shade “Crystalline.”
