One of the best things I have had happened in my career is meeting other beauty professionals. I am fortunate to have made friends all over the WORLD with some of THE most talented individuals out there. Aligning yourself with others in your profession is powerful. It’s nice to be able to share each others ideas and success with one another. I thought it would be helpful to all of you to introduce you to some of these wonderful people right here on my Blog. After all, they are “all about beauty” too!! Meet Martha Tello Rosser…

Who is Martha Tello Rosser?
I have been in the beauty industry for over 18 years. I have worked in many different avenues of the business from being behind the makeup counter as a business manager to education to owning my own salon. I currently specialize in makeup and hair for weddings, photography, print, film and anything in between.

In what way have you maximized your existing business as a pro artist?
One thing I am obsessed about is skincare. I have personally had a skincare routine since the age of 11. I have also had extensive education on the skin and its important functions. Because of this I have always been cautious and aware of the quality and ingredients of the skincare and makeup that I use during makeup applications and facials. I teach the importance of skin care at home any chance that I am given. I also love providing facials to my clients to give their skin that extra love it needs every 4-6 weeks.

What made you want to learn more and eventually partner with Motives Cosmetics?
Over the last few years, hair has turned into a love and an outlet for creativity. Creating beautiful hairstyles has become an unexpected joy for ma! About 4 years ago I added an amazing new service, Custom Blend Foundations, and Powders. With custom cosmetics, I can provide a foundation and powder that is customized to my client’s specific skin tone, skin type, coverage, and finish. I recently became an educator and trainer with Motives Cosmetics so I can teach others how they can be successful.

How have you evolved with in the industry?
Last but definitely not least I am Nationally Certified Massage Therapist. I attended Apollo College where I graduated with a certificate of Massage Therapy in 2009. Every year I attend continuing education classes to expand my knowledge of the many modalities of massage and to learn the anatomy of the body to better maximize my ability to help my clients. Above all my biggest reward is seeing the face of relief and relaxation when my clients walk out of our sessions. I couldn’t do all this without the support of my husband, son, daughter, other family, friends and all of my wonderful clients who have become more like family!!
