The Ingredients

Hydrolized Keratin: Keratin is a protein that’s naturally found in your hair. It’s responsible for your hair’s health. While keratin makes your hair strong, it’s also prone to damage due to environmental aggressors.

Hydrolyzed keratin is a large protein molecule that is broken down after a chemical process in a manner such that it can penetrate the hair cuticle. It is sourced from a larger keratin molecule.

Keratin is broken down by splitting its bond with the addition of hydrogen and hydroxide (water). At the end of the chemical process, the keratin is reduced into smaller fragments that the hair can absorb, thanks to its lower molecular weight.

Essentially, hydrolyze means to fragment the protein or break into smaller pieces in a non-specific manner. The broken-down proteins deposit themselves on the hair’s shaft. Due to the low molecular weight and the small size, the hydrolyzed keratin proteins go beyond the cuticle, penetrate the hair shaft and reduce damage.

When you use hydrolyzed keratin on your hair topically, it helps fill the minor gaps throughout the hair shaft, including its three layers – the medulla, cortex and cuticle. It’s like pouring cement into a crack.

When the broken down protein fills these microscopic gaps, hair gets the strength to minimize damage from chemical treatments, heat styling, mechanical manipulation and the sun.

Hydrolyzed Collagen- Hydrolyzed Collagen enhances the appearance and feel of hair by increasing hair body, suppleness or sheen. It may also improve the texture of hair that has been damaged physically or by excessive treatment. Scientific Facts: Hydrolyzed Collagen generally is adsorbed on hair, increasing tensile strength and elongation.

Linalool: Natural substances called linalool are present in many plants, including basil, coriander, and lavender. It is frequently used as a fragrance component in cosmetics and personal care products because of its sweet, flowery scent. Linalool can be a terrific natural element for encouraging healthy and strong hair, but it also has a number of potential advantages for the health of your hair.

The potential of linalool to fortify hair follicles and prevent hair breakage is one of the substance’s major advantages for hair. This is due to the fact that linalool works to increase blood flow to the scalp, which can encourage hair development and fortify hair strands.

Aside from stimulating hair follicles and encouraging hair development, linalool may also have positive effects on hair by controlling sebum production. The capacity of linalool to encourage hair growth is one of its main advantages for hair.

Hydroxypropyltrimonium: It is a great conditioning agent for both skin and hair. Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride is especially beneficial as a hair care product. Because it is positively charged, or cationic, it neutralizes the negative charges on hair strands that cause hair to become static or tangled. Better yet, it does this without weighing hair down. With this ingredient, you can have silky, non-static hair that retains its volume and provides a smoother brushing experience.

Hydrolyzed Corn Starch: Works as a humectant that moisturizes and conditions hair and skin, can and also helps the products absorb into your hair.

Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine: Behenamidopropyl dimethylamine is the conditioning agent. This ingredient is actually made from Brassica Oil (the family of mustard, cabbage and kale). Through the process of amidation, the oil is transformed into a cationic (positively charged) conditioner that helps detangle and calm static.

Behenamidopropyl dimethylamine is great for smoothing hair, conditioning and reducing static. In the cosmetics industry it most often is found in conditioners and to a lesser extent shampoos. It is great for all hair types including straight, wavy and curly.

Behentrimonium Chloride: Behentrimonium chloride is a hair care ingredient used to reduce static and frizzing in hair conditioning products. Behentrimonium chloride is an antistatic ingredient and is also an emulsifying agent, which helps to improve the moisture content of the hair. It is derived from an ingredient of the brassica rapa oleifera plant.

Steartrimonium Chloride: It works as an anti-static agent and a hair-conditioning agent. It prevents or inhibits the build-up of static electricity in your hair Its use as an antistatic agent is due to the positive charge it carries, which draws it to the slightly negatively charged skin and hair proteins.

Amodimethicone: Amodimethicone works by forming a thin, protective layer around the hair shaft, which helps to prevent damage from heat styling and other environmental stressors.
