BLOG, Business, My Life / Friday, May 24th, 2019

With the release of the new Boss Babe Palette, it’s given me the opportunity to reflect on what exactly a boss babe is. It has also made me realize how BLESSED I am to have the opportunity to not only be my own boss and have the vehicle to create the life I have always dreamed of, but also to be surrounded by a lot of other boss babes too! I am constantly being inspired by these incredible women and truly learn so much from them. It’s truly women EMPOWERING each other…and I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

I wanted to take this as an opportunity to celebrate some of these amazing women. Here are just a handful of some of my boss babe friends and how they answered the question “What does being a boss babe mean to you?”.

You see Boss Babes make it happen, they never look back , only to see the trail they have blazed!
They empower others, give more, love more, inspire, do whats right and keep growing, changing, and adapting, while going through the process.

“To me it means… living life on my own terms. Not having to sacrifice being a mom to be a business woman. We can do it all, have it all, and be it all. Freedom from a boss who dictates your worth and your time. Freedom to be where I want with who I want. And the ability to empower others along the way to live out their best life by simply adapting to a lifestyle of the modern day entrepreneur.” -Lisa Martin

Empowerment to each other and to our younger generations so there can be more boss babes in generation to come!” -Amber Lopez

“I believe that empowerment is all about encouragement. When some of my girlfriends came out with beauty lines, I was excited to support them!”

“We are big supporters of Kim, and Jennifer Lopez has been my best friend for a long time and she launched a makeup line. We are all supportive of each other and encouraging each other in so many ways. We never see it as like, “Oh my god, my girlfriend came out with a cosmetic line. I can’t believe she did that to me.” We’re the total opposite of that.” – via People

“When I created my three new palettes Boss Babe, Jet Setter, and Goal Digger, I wanted to encourage women of all skin types to be their best, most beautiful selves. I especially wanted the women who wear my makeup to be encouraged to be themselves. Play with makeup, own your uniqueness—that’s what empowerment is all about. Empowering women is my why! It gets me up in the morning! It inspired me to create these amazing palettes.”
